Cheesy Homemade Garlic Bread

Life moves really fast sometimes - where it becomes so easy for us to buy all of the pre-made frozen garlic bread and just cook that up whenever pasta is on the menu.  This recipe may take a few minutes longer than it's frozen counterpart, but it is super easy and definitely a fresher option.
The freshness of the French Bread and gooeyness of the melty cheese creates a winner side dish for any pasta dinner for everyone in the family - kids included.

Sweet Potato & Carrot Soup

Breaded Chicken with Cherry Date Compote

Daily cooking can sometimes find you wanting more - not to say that the food is bad, but things get repetitive, you long for something that is different.  This day was one of those days.

French Kiss Martini

E and I are getting married later this year.  To inspire us, we were looking for romantic French inspired decorations and I came across this martini.

Chocolate Lava Cakes

When I think of a romantic dinner and what dessert would top things off perfectly, I think of Lava Cakes.  They're rich and creamy and decadent and ...well, I could keep going.  All of this adds up to they are the perfect finish to a romantic meal.

Melted Chocolate Cake Decorations

It's the first year that the kid wanted me to make the birthday cake instead of buying it from Target or somewhere like that and I dove right in!
Her biggest request is that she wanted some sort of awesome dance party kind of cake.  The big theme was blue, as you probably can see.  But the highlights where the rice krispy disco ball, the sugared stained glass dance floor and the Melted White Chocolate Decorations.  I can't forget to mention the home made butter cream frosting and edible blue spray paint.

Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

It was one of those weekends.  You know the ones - when there are so many things to get done, when you have a few events to go to and then all of the house chores that have been put off during the, to worry about dinner...No Thank You!  I wanted something easy where we didn't have to go to the store and get things - so, I raided the pantry and found this simple, sweet and tangy Shredded BBQ Chicken!
