Super Simple Salsa

There are so many types of salsa when you walk into any grocery store.  I could be overwhelming if you don't know what type you are hungry for.

That is where this recipe is fun - because you make it yourself. You can take out some of the heat if you don't want or add more if you like it SPICY.
I know that at times, some of the recipes on my site are a little more involved, but this is not one of them.  This couldn't be simpler...unless you would just buy it at the store.
I found that the flavor of this was even better the next day when all ingredients really married together.  Also found that I loved this with the Lime Flavored Corn Chips.

Super Simple Salsa

Ingredients:
  • 2 14oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes, drained if you want thicker salsa
  • 1 4oz can diced chiles
  • 1 cup Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup Cilantro
  • 1 Jalapeno, de-stemmed - leave seeds if you want more heat
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper

Preparation:
  • Mix all ingredients in food processor and pulse till everything is broken down to the same size. Store in fridge.  Serve with tortilla chips or your favorite taco, burrito or chimichanga recipe.

Happy Food Processing!!!
